I’m Zachariah Wicks, owner and operator of Trust & Trigger Appraisal LLC. My career has been dedicated to precision, reliability, and a deep understanding of firearms.

I served in the U.S. Army with 7th Special Forces Group as a Special Operations Small Arms Repairman, ensuring mission-critical weapons functioned flawlessly under the most demanding conditions. After my military service, I contracted with Lockheed Martin in support of 1st Special Forces Group, again specializing in small arms repair and logistics.

My experience extends overseas, where I spent time in Kuwait providing small arms repair and refit in direct support of the Ukrainian war effort. Along the way, I’ve earned multiple manufacturer certifications from industry leaders including Glock, FN SOF-P and SOF-NAC, Dillon Aero, Knight’s Armament, and Remington Defense.

Today, I bring that same technical expertise and attention to detail to the civilian market. In addition to running Trust & Trigger Appraisal LLC, I serve as the Used Gun Program Manager for a major national outdoor retailer, giving me a constant pulse on market trends, collector demand, and fair market values.

My mission is simple: provide accurate, defensible firearm valuations you can trust — backed by decades of hands-on experience in the field, the shop, and the marketplace.
